Venice is only twenty kilometres away and is easy to reach by car, or by bus, (the bus stop is a few minutes on foot). By highway exit at Dolo-Mirano. Venice is 20 kilometres away, Padua at 25 kilometres, while Vicenza, Belluno, and Verona are ideal for daily excursion. In Mira visit “villa Malcontenta” one of Palladio’s masterpieces, built for the Foscari family in 1560. The interior is beautifully frescoed by Battista Franco and Gian Battista Zelotti. A splendid parkland surrounds the villa. |
