Caprese Michelangelo- Near the birthplace of the great artist , there is this beautiful villa with its unique tower, which was constructed around the year 1000 AD. Subsequently, several additions have been built around the tower. The main entrance archway is of "serena" stone and is inscribed with the date 1614. The same noble family has inhabited the villa since 1600. The interior private chapel, dated 1700, gives one the feeling of bygone centuries. |

The villa is situated on the gentle slopes of the Tiber valley at the border between Tuscany and Umbria. Guests can admire the valley, the superb view of the town of Sansepolcro, birthplace of Piero della Francesca, and the "Alpe della Luna" mountains.
